Been doing about a month of research here, and still have a bunch more to go. Trying to carry on a family tradition. Grandfather, uncles, cousin, all passed on and feeling good. I hope to find a recipe, and keep up the fine reputation.

Thanks to all who make post's here, and make this just a great place to learn, and learn some more.

Looking to build a Boka/Vapor management cobo. As much for the challenge to keep learning, making mistakes and learning some more.
Bought a few fittings, and a stick of 2"x10 ft copper. The stick was on sale at lowes for $75. Couldn't pass it up.
Going to a friends house this afternoon for a keg he will give me. I just have to pass on a sample of product when I get the system working. Seems like a good trade for all.

Have about 35 years in the aerospace buisness. Electro-mechanical. More electronics. I have been able to play with rockets, balloons the size of football fields, big planes, small UAV's and lots inbetween. Hope to use the experience to make a great product. Looking for neutrals, (might use it for my 1955 International Pickup) and flavors.

I'm sure I will enjoy this adventure. I will be working from the eastern edge of Virginia, USA

Welcome to HD that is a great price for the copper pipe. I would say this is a great place for making liquor but if you are thinking of it as a fuel source there are better forums to get that info!

I'm really looking to come close to the taste (just a hint of peach flavor), and smoothness (barely knew I was drinking much more then peach flavored water), when we had some of "The Baby" as we called it. Was the last jar from a year ago, so I was told. The Father who made the product, has passed on, and his son has the recipe, but doesn't want to continue the process. So, I have taken the task to see if I can keep "The Baby" going for the family. Quite the responseability, but I think I can get there with all the help in HD forum.
I was just using the '55 truck, like PP has in his signature about the copper esspresso machine. I do have a junk commercial esspresso machine with mostly SS parts I might use if i need to.

PP, shall indeed take my time and will also bring the 30 years of Safety that is always fed to us from the aerospace side.

On the bright side. The forum has already given valuable info on Safety for removing the Tap Plug in the keg I picked up this afternoon. It was a piece of pie. A comment to maybe place in the Keg sticky, is maybe mention on being sure to release the pressure several times during the plug removal process. Even though it was somewhat cool here this afternoon, during the 15 minutes I was working on the plug, I was able to release pressure right up till the time I removed the snapring. Just a thought. I don't remember reading that in the posting. I'm assuming the beer was continuing to release the CO2.
