still not condensing?

I'm fairly new to the distilling process, but have all the basics down and know a good bit about it.
I tried distilling my first batch of mash and for some reason it was not producing anything. I used a 3/8" tube for the condenser maybe this is too small of diameter to collect the vapor from the pot? the pot is sealed off and not leaking but just not producing anything.
maybe I should try a larger diameter pipe then use the 3/8 for the worm?
