99.9 Wrought Copper Cap

Post by thegenerallee »

I may be looking at this with a fine-tooth comb, but should there be any concern with using a cap (as a mounting point and means for better stabilizing the column on the pot's lid) that's 99.9% wrot (that's how it's spelled on http://www.grainger.com/Grainger/NIBCO-Cap-5P126" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow) copper? From what I've read, the wrought part just means that it's cold pressed. If it's 99.9%, what's the rest? Lead?
