Hearts and Tails

Just a quick question. Is there a color difference between the heart and tails. I have four pint jars numbered 2-5. Jars 2,3 and four are sparkling clear, but jar 5 is just clear but not sparkling. I am using a reflux still. I cannot tell any difference in taste or aroma and I quit distilling at 100*f when I wasn't getting anymore spirits. Should I assume there are tails in jar 5 and run it through on the next batch?
