Starter Distillers yeast

I seen this In my local brew shop it was 6 bucks for 2 lbs
it says its Starter Disillers yeast and that it will do like 1000 gallons of wash per lb..
My question is... is this What i think it is.. just disillers yeast.. the Word starter is throwing me off.

Yep, thats just distiller's yeast capable of 14 to 22 %

same stuff i use works great sometimes i mix ec 1118 with it or backers yeast just for different flavor.i think mine says suprestart thow

I need to get some more of the Super starter.. I like it.
It dosent seem quite as good ( but the price is right) as the white labs high grav yeast.
I used to have a mixed colony with Super starter Crosby, and white labs high grav, and that was a great combo. A faster and more compleate ferment than either one alone.

would love to have some of the white labs but the only way for me to get is to drive about 100 mile round trip to get it. the super start and the e1118 works pretty good.
