tequila

can someone give me a tequila recipe....i can get the blue agave in a health food store...but i am not sure as to how much to use in a 5 gallon batch...also, do i put it in the wash before i ferment or put it in the wash before i distill...please help

You put it in before you ferment. The agave nectar is what you are fermenting. If you put it in after, you'd be trying to ferment water which I have a feeling wouldn't get you any booze.
