first timer...help please

Hellow all. first timer here.My question is i bought A stanless steel keg.out of the top of my keg is a 2ft piece of 2'' coper pipe with pressure and temp guage installed.off the top of my pipe is a 1/2 union to fit to my 1/2 worm witch is ran down to a large pot full of ice.My question is . First off does anybody see a problem with my set up.And #2 do i have to mix up a mash and let it ferment for days before adding it to my keg. or can i dump my corn,sugar,yeast in my keg that sets over my turkey cooker and start cooking right away.THANKS FOR THE HELP

Some pics of your still would help determine if its safe to run or not.

Yes you need to let your wash ferment. Or there will be no alcohol in it.

Please take the time and do plenty of the mandatory research. The new distiller reading lounge is a great place to start out. Then move out from there. There are many things that need to be known before you just jump in and start this hobby. In order to do it safely and correctly.
