DISTILLING TWICE?
this is my first time trying to shine, ive got a cracked corn mash fermenting at the moment and was curious as to the drinkability of the distilled spirits. is it standard procedure to distill multiple times or can you drink what comes out after the first run? also, is cutting the likker a must or should i just leave it alone? im looking for some good strong white lighting but not something that is nearly impossible to swallow. i realize these questions can be based on peoples different opinions but im just new to this and soaking up the knowledge. also, if you distill more than once do you just pour everything (minus the first 3-4oz) into a cleaned out pot and distill just the clear likker youve just run? thanks
