1st try at a run

hi all im trying my first attempt at making a mash today using sweet feed and sugar and 5 gallons of distilled water... ive followed the recipe... im just not sure how much yeast to add ... i have red star active dry yeast just not sure how much of it to add .... any help would be appreciated ... thx :D

if balk 1-2 table spoons or 1-2 packs

I don't think you can generally add too much yeast. What don't start, will be cannibalized, what do will jes fight off infection... welcome to HD!!!

Does it not say how much in the first post of the sweetfeed recipe thread? Over in the tried and true recipe section?
