Hey Everyone,
I made some apple pie the other day and by the end of the next day I noticed a jelly like looking cloud hovering off the bottom of the jar. Has anyone else ever had this happen to them? I used a frozen can of apple juice concentrate no added water just the concentrate, 6oz of apple cider, 1/4c. brn. sugar and a cinnamon stick.
Any ideas as to why this happened would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks

Re: Apple Pie Question?
My apple pie (as well as my buddies) always has that cloud. Just give her a good shake before pourin'. Like tater said, prolly sugar as well as cider schmeg, cinnamon, etc... If it really bothers ya, you could filter it through a coffee filter, and throw it in the fridge or freezer for a bit to promote settling then rack off the top.

I don't mind the cloud, it has that "made at home" quality when you have others sample it.
