Fermaid K and the flavor it may add

Post by Rafe Hollister »

Okay, I know the rules. I read and read, and used the search function, but didn't find the answer to my question. I realize everything you add to your wash can affect the flavor of the product. My question... What has been your experience with Fermaid K relative to off flavors?

Used judiciously I have not noticed any off flavors. I have used it in sugar washes that have come close to stalling. I like it.

cheers

I appreciate the feedback Stilly. That's exactly what I need to know. I have to admit, I was hoping for more than one opinion. I gotta believe someone else out there has used the product and might have some feedback for me.

This may be a year late...but I use Fermaid K as well. Make rums and haven't noticed any funk form it.
