i took crushed corn say 50% and say 20% wheat and say 30% barley , soaked it for a day then added some sugar ,sprouted wheat and yeast let stand for a week and ran it threw a pot still ... say 10 - 15 gallons netted me around 1/2- 1 gallon of shine witch i put into a container with charred oak blocks so it would age well does this seem OK to do..

Little more to it the that.finished product from that recipe would be a bourbon. Id malt the barley instead of the wheat.Read sight in my signature.good luck and welcome to forum.
I use a pot still.Sometimes with a thumper

thanks.. thats what i was going for "bourbon . i only hads rolled barley so i malted the wheat instead... it dint seem to get me all that much out of 10 or so gallons ill let it ferment longer .. it was still bubbling when i ran it in the pot
