Roasted Pecans

A week ago, I roasted some pecans in the shell, in the oven for about 45 minutes. I added 5 of the pecans to my corn whiskey 1 ltr. It starting getting dark rather fast. I let it sit overnight it got really dark. But the final taste I was impressed, my wife liked it as well. I'm not sure if anyone has done this, I didn't see anything, just thought I'd throw it out here for everyone.
