Today marked six weeks since I made my first batch of whiskey. I experimented with it and am very happy with the results. I took one gallon of 100 proof neutral made with Tpm and put 1 vanilla bean and a handful of jack Daniel wood chips and two tablespoons of caramel coffee syrup. I tasted it today and I have to say this is the best whiskey I have ever drank. I couldn't be happier with the result, it was warming not burning, smooth as a baby's butt. Woohoo. Smell it awesome.
