So, how is it really, can you see the difference between ethanol and methanol by looking at how it burns? I've heard:
Blue flame = ethanol
Yellow flame = methanol
Is there any truth about this or has it more to do with alcohol content and amount of fusils?

I usualy pour out my foeshots and light them. I notice that the flame lights up blue and as it burns turns to a yellow top. Maybe it is the meth

It has more to do with impurities and fusils. The temperature range that the various alcohols burn at is not far enough apart to produce a visible color change.
