Inferior Torch Kits

Post by DFitz »

I thought I'd pass along some information regarding inferior torch sets that are being sold in many stores and over the internet. Mainly torch sets sold on Ebay. It appears that many of these torch sets include acetylene and oxygen bottles that were made in China and do not meet the D.O.T. specification for filling or re-filling of hazardous material.

More cheap ass dangerous garbage from China. Shocking. Not.

Thanks!

A note on this. I purchased a torch kit from Walmart. This exact torch head was included.

It blew up in my hand while trying to light it with the clicker button. A week later i used my dads. Same style, also purchased at Walmart. It too, detonated while striking.

If you have one of these i recomend you take it back for a refund.
