Any old car/truck buffs in here?

Post by norcal »

I inherited a 1927 GMC truck. Trying to get her fixed up.I can't find much info any where on the net. Since ther seems to be a lot of "tinkerers" here, thought I would take a shot in the dark and see if any one here can help. Any info would be much appreciated.

What kind of information are you looking for.
There is all kinds of information, you just have to decide what you want and who is going to do the work. I would be happy to take it off your hands just ship it to me.

I would like to find a source for parts. I really need a radiator cap. The one with an eagle. Some swine swiped it while the truck was in moth balls. Also would like some kind of manual or some thing to help with figuring out what should go where.

Google with Chevsoftheforty's , or the filling station or antique chev parts or patrics they have a good supply of stuff. Go buy a copy of hemmings.

Still can't find much. Seems to be a lot more after '37.

type alltheweb into your search bar, go to the search engine, click on photos, and type . 1927 chev truck or what ever. Bet you find tons of pictures. Find one you like, and you open it. Home sites address will be in your address bar. Click go, you will go to that site,
Nice set of wheels there. Are you going original or hot rod?
