Been a long time brewer of Beer(BIAB) but I'm very new to distilling. Just wondering if hops character, taste, aroma carry over during the distilling process? Is it worth experimenting with or is it just a waste of time?

Been covered a ton here on HD. Type hops up in the right hand corner.
