It is different'''' I tried once with 10# chopped with sugar and bakers yeast''' also tried a half corn and half prickly pear and liked it better'' after fermentation it becomes like a slimy aloe Vera that you pour into your still ''''it don't seem right '' but it turned out kinda like a mezcal that I've never tried before'''
Re: Texas whiskey co.
Got anymore information on Texas Whiskey co.? After a google search, nothing comes up at all on it. Curious to see pictures of this distillery and his process.

Still not much out there, other than trademark information. This is also another company in the same area making prickly pear vodka.

Sorry, Bushman. Comfort is up near Fredericksburg, except on the West side.
Here is what I found
https://www.docketalarm.com/trademarks/ ... AR_CACTUS/
after further reading the page, I see they are going under the name Hill Country Distillers. After a search on this name, I found the website. Not much info, but some nice pictures of the Texas Hill Country

Finally, here is information on the cactus vodka. It is made using the cactus, not the prickly pear. I didnt recommend this one to you, since I had seen a TV news interview on it. Plastic use everywhere, small set-up. Product is called Spike Vodka
