Pump size?
I cant seem to find any recomendations on what size pump to use. I have a 50 gal barrel feeding a Bok type still. It will come from barrel to a small Graham condensor on take off (Approx 8-10" long) to 1/4" double wound (10" long) condensor, then back through a small fan cooled radiator to supply barrel. Any suggestions and recomendations will be greatly appreciated. Thanx

Re: Pump size?
you wont need much the very minimum would be 1l per minute (0.3gal per minute)
I suggest getting some thing that pumps alot faster then getting a valve to control it
good setup to save water
someone will come along soon that has a setup similier to yours
(we don't pay for water in the south land NZ region)

Re: Pump size?
Just make sure it has "head pressure" to reach the top of your boka. I found a small pond pump for I believe a coi pond with a 15' lift in one of the big box stores fore around $35. They are small, submersible and silent. They are also built to run continuous. This is very important too. At first I tried an old utility pump I dug up out of the shed but it would shut off after running about an hour to cool off and start back up. Fortunately that trait was discovered on a cleaning run.
