Torrified wheat?

All about grains. Malting, smoking, grinding and other preparations.
Which grains are hot, which are not.

Torrified wheat?

Post by Jolly John »

Hi.

Anybody made a mash, using torrified wheat? Now I haven't a clue what a 90% wheat & 10% malt would taste like, but it might be worth a try, I've got about 20 kilos of torrified wheat from beer making. I believe "torrified" means heat treated, similar to rolled grains, should make mashing a bit easier.
No one is completely useless.....they can always serve as a bad example.
