I have been looking at the double helix coil. and have a question..
in hvac piping, a double coil has a supply and return piping. the flow of air to the coil always hits the supply
side of the coil first. the second coil is the return..
the double helix coil , does it matter which coil is the supply[in] ? which is return[out] ?
its only a couple of degrees, does it make a diff in this situation?

Re: double helix coil
Pretty sure it's cold input water to the outside coil and the inner is the return / warm.

Re: double helix coil
to be honest,, i cant tell by that picture which which is which
looks like supply is in the middle?
looks like supply is in the middle?
Re: double helix coil
I have found that my double helix is more efficient when I run the cold into the outer coil first since it chills the outer wall of the pipe making it condense vapors as well. Its just my observations and opinion. In reflux it might be better the other way around..
