An interesting event
Now if you would be young distillers want to try something fun, try this. MOVE FUCKING HOUSE!!!! at short notice.
I am now in the fun position of having to relocate about 50kms back to my own house, after having happily distilled too many fucking gallons of spirits over the last year and a half. I was just having so much fun learning some new tricks, I think I got carried away in the moment. I've managed to put about 100 litres into every glass bottle I had but I still have a 100 litre keg more than half full of UJSSM which is too heavy and awkward to move. Now I have to go out and find a whole heap of glass to lighten the tub.
This is on top of the 100 odd litres of beer I moved already and all my fermenting, distilling and brewing equipment. I'm trying to drink as much as possible to lighten the load but I'm only 2 men. I see 2 when I look in the mirror. Is that a good thing or not?
I haven't even looked at moving my fishing gear or boats yet. Doh!!!

My condolences. I'd rather take an ass whipping than move. At least you'll be well stocked up.

At the moment an ass whipping would be good, and while I'm bent over
. I'm so glad I made a shitload of UJSSM, because I'm sure as hell going to need a few drinks come 2 weeks time, when we have to be out of this place and back into my old joint. We've been renting it out to "White Trash" for the last 5 years after spending $50k doing it up for the purpose. That was a huge mistake.
It's taken 4 days to find the house under the shit these lowlife scumbags have left. I do believe that humans are the dirtiest animals on the planet. Give me a dog or a pig or a horse any day over these vermin.
Enough venting from me now. How's everybody's stillin' going. I haven't fired up in quite a while cause I thought this might be coming.

sorry to hear, my parents have gone through the same thing (they literally removed a wall from the laundry)
let this be a lesson for more flat inspections and background checks, My parents like to meet the flatmates first, but it is what it is

Re: An interesting event
Went into an apartment once to do some maintenance work and found that the tenants in the two adjoining apartments had knocked a huge hole in the wall so they could share the TV viewing. Nice to be neighborly, but wtf? Both tenants were asked to vacate their apartments and forfeited their security deposits. Dumbass called to have a leaky faucet repaired - guess he thought noone would notice the big gaping hole in the wall.
I saw some pretty nasty crap while working with an apartment maintenance crew. It's just amazing how low some people can sink.

Pigs always get a fairly bad rep, they are one of the only animals that will clean out their own nests if left to themselves.CuWhistle wrote: Give me a dog or a pig or a horse any day over these vermin.
Shame to hear about your predicament, hope it's not too much work/money that you have to put in to solve things.

Bummer whistle, 50km away is better than 500. And about having too much hooch..... were you really complaining about having too much hooch??
In theory there's no difference between theory and practice. But in practice there is.

I'm trying to get rid of it as quick as I can so I don't need to carry it.
Guy at the Insurance company told me he once had a claim from a landlord after his tenants bred chickens in the house. Every cupboard was used and the house was filled up with boxes and cages for chicken farming.

I suppose you could kill it in such a manner that it was no longer edible, and that would be a shame, thems tasty critters.Truckinbutch wrote:Having too much hooch would be like killing a rattlesnake wrong .......... Ain't no sucha thing

Well after a moderately successful relocation, I'm so glad that my whiskey has matured a further 4 weeks without my devoted attention to detailed analysis. I needed a sip today, and have been obliging to my own inner control. ie none. 3 parts pissed and looking towards 4. whoooo hooooo. Thank heavens for no hang overs. Yee haaa.
Wife is away, so no complainin. Only moved one horse though. 2 more to go.
no chickens yet.

I'll forgive you'se al for scratchin your heads, but I know what I mean.
I'm home again?
Nearly, but close enough to have a sip, (or five). In some language I'm sure that five sounds like seven if you say it fast enough. 7 - 5, 5 - 7. See what I mean.
How many unmeasured, measures in 2 litres? How many holes to fill the Albert Hall? I think my bottle has a hole in it!!
I wish it was Wet T-Shirt night. That's a Cold Fact.
