Trouble posting images

I don't know too much about converting files that's why im here. I tried to post a pic that was taken from a digital camera and when I went to post it said it was too big of a file it had to be 2 mb or less and it also said something about php.ini I don't know what that is. I looked at the pic and it was .jpg and 6.74mb how do I change the mb of a pic and the file type

Depends on what system you are running on a PC you should be able to edit the size on a number of different programs. If you right click on the picture before opening it you will have a bunch of options. One of the options will be Open with click on that and it opens another drop down menu select Microsoft Office Picture Manager. Once open use the Edit Pictures pick at the top of the page then your editing tools will be on the right side select crop.

With my iPad I downloaded a free app called Simple ReSize.

6Mb is way too big a file size. The forum limits pictures to a pixel size of 800 x800 maximum. Re-size it based on pixels and you will have no problemos.
