I have just finished constructing a triac control copied the drawing odessit posted with the extra capacitor and just run her up and she works as it should happy days and grand total of £8.50 gotta love maplins..hopefully have added a couple of pics

You wouldn't happen to have a diagram with accompanying "idiot-proof picture pages" of the build, would you?
