the world is a changin...

Post by WooTeck »

in just a few days time the world I know is going to change (18th sept). the Scottish independence referendum. I know that we are not supposed to discuss politics. so instead id like you to join me in razing a jar and wishing the nation of Scotland a prosperous future. to anyother scottish stillers this may be our chance to legalise this hobby :)

You sound confident. I'll raise a glass to that and wish you the best of luck on your road to independence.

It's going to be close and we could learn something from your politics as it is the most polite debate that I have seen in years with well thought out discussions on both sides. Hope it works out for the best for Scotland and you!

Best of luck on the 18th, whatever the outcome.
I'll be celebrating my birthday the same day so I may be too drunk to even remember the referendum :?

Ill raise a glass to that, cheers and good luck eck. Most of the rest of the world managed to kick the meddlesome brits ass out of their life, Scotland could be next on the list. ;)

I will have a drink in the name of your potential independence. Any country that wants to stand on it's own legs, should have the right to at least try. When my country declared Independence over 200 years ago, it became the mold that would cast the identity of an entire nation.

Your country's pending decision in two days makes me think of the Kennedy - Rice speech.

My country chose independence as well but we didn't quite make it. Now it would seem the the CSA had the right idea in view of the happenings today and the decimation of the country! They tried to tell us it would happen!

Independence without a war. That's some thing to toast.
May your country be a good example to the rest of the world.

put on a couple of bets on after the realisation that I wouldn't be able to enjoy the party in the event of a yes vote. if they all prove true then ill have a sweat £900 ($1,467.64) to play with. now the result matters to me.

Well that is a bummer brother. Just watched Brave heart again last night, whether it is accurate or not, still a good movie dealing with freedom.

For what it's worth, I wear my kilt about once a month, pretty damn comfortable, except the wool is a little rough on the equipment package. Sporting a black watch my family cloth.
There is no such thing as a stupid question....... Unless you didn't research it first.
