Found a good deal on Apple Juice at my local Kroger at $3.59/gal and have just put up 10 gals of wash using EC-1118 and juice (no sugar). I am fermenting this batch inside to keep the ferment cool. Per Jimbo's advice I will give it plenty of time to finish dry and settle. I will run it through my pot still with gas power and herein lies my question: I know Jimbo uses only fresh pressed apple juice and does his single run. I was wondering how you guys who use store bought juice run theirs. I normally would do a stripping run, then a spirit run; I do want as much favor as possible. Weigh in Guys, what's your thoughts on single run vs double run using store bought juice.
