the wife bought one of these "amazing hoses" - you know the kind that shrivels up like a well used... i mean it shrinks up to a couple feet after you let the water out of it?
learned a couple weeks ago they were RECALLED because if you leave them pressured up for any period of time, they magically seal themselves off at the valve and water quits running. not so bad if you are watering the garden...not so good if you are feeding your condensor with it.
You're lucky. I overheard a guy loudly complaining to a seller, and everyone in earshot, that he couldn't repair his. I'd been thinking about getting one before that.
They are a compression fitting at the ends with balloon trapped in between two pieces of plastic. If the ends break it takes two or three minutes to fix.
