Maybe someone has contact with people from Jamaica, Cuba, the Dominican Republic, or some other countries with warm climates?
I'm looking for someone who could to send wild yeast to Polish.
Me and my colleagues from Polish, very dependent on these yeast.

I think one of the problems you will face is what survives and works well at 18*N will struggle at +/- 50*N. I think maintaining a dunderpit would be a challenge but may be a way for you to establish some of the required elements to produce rums with an island flavor profile. Best of luck

I think a island style pot still with multiple thumpers loaded with tails heads and molasses would get him a long way down the road to that type of rum...

it's been noted here that a lot of baker's yeasts are cultured on molasses. maybe the simplest way is to go to the supermarket.

Baker's yeast, there are not good to rum. Although increase on molasses.
