Yeast, is there anything they can't do?

I just read a bunch of articles about genetically modified yeast that produce morphine. I decided not to put any links to such research here. You can Google it for your selves. Something tells me this is not going to turnout well.

I found it amazing that one of the key points in both of the articles that I read was "How are they going to keep this from the common folk?"
In other words how do they keep their profit centers going....
