Sweet condenser potential
SO I bought this industrial tank-less water heater from a car wash and as it turns out it has a pretty amazing little bit of copper inside. I am betting I could make one mean shotgun condenser or a dephlegmater or whatever it is... If I got really ambitious, even a crossflow condenser.
What should I do to make the best use of this awesomeness....
I have tons more pictures but have to convert them to smaller size.

Wow..! What a beauty you scored there..
I think a crossflow condenser out of this would be a monster and top heavy...on what still would you put it?
A mega dephlagmator..yes.
Or a shotgun condenser, probably the last one you ever need..

That is awesome! Check it for lead solder though before you get too excited.

Believe it or not they had 6 of them and 5 went to the scrap yard.
I will post the dimensions tomorrow.... along with a few more pictures.
One question though, how do I know if it is lead solder? Is there some way to tell?

Damned...you lucky s..o..
You can buy a lead test kit, it will show you if it's lead alloy solder or not (hope it's not).

Holy Cow is that thing beautiful. I would think long and hard before I would touch it! Good on you, mate! (as our friend down under would say).
