Did a 26 litre UJSM spirit run yesterday. While starting off by filling the boiler, then filling out the diary, i noticed it's Run #50

So happy, happy me...50 runs under the belt, and starting to take the distilling side of mashes i know fairly well in my stride.

Did my cuts from the still yesterday in 500ml bottles to start, then switched to 4l bottles then switched back to 500ml bottles.
Turns out when i checked it in the afternoon, i didn't need to add any of the .5's

, cuts were just where i like em.

It's entirely thanks to what i've read on the forums, building on the base of the parent site, so give y'selves a pat on the back. You blokes have set another new distiller on the way to competence.

i wish i kept records like that. i dont have a clue how many runs i have made off and on over the past seven years. congrats on the 50th though punkin.

Thank you for the fine wishes, Gents. Did a strip run of the corn/malt brew yesterday, so the moment has passed

Working towards my century now.

I'll put up some piccies soon of the new distillery shed...It's really starting to take shape. I raised the gantry on tuesday, just gotta make some cleats to strengthen it and i have an operational crane in my shed
