Re: Granulated honey
I've made lots of honey shine, but not with that product. Its cut with sugar syrup.

I was VERY excited to see this new product! Then I saw the ingredients. It's not really accurate saying it's granulated honey when refinery syrup is the first ingredient. Found this online: "Refiners Syrup is a pleasant tasting thick syrup with a rich unique flavor. It is a by-product of the refining of cane sugar. No benefits other than a very pleasant flavor. Like sugar it provides empty calories it has no nutritional value whatsoever. People do not buy it for its health giving properties." If you want pure granulated honey Packit Gourmet sells it in small quantities... guess that's where I'll be getting mine.**

Came here to say that 59.99 for 50# of sugar is the highest price I've ever seen. Is shipping free?
Looking at that price alone would make me want to shop around for other sellers of honey if you are wanting to go that route just in case.
I can get 50# of sugar for $16.00 local and no shipping cost to deal with.

Re: Granulated honey
I use them all the time. I was just about to make an order for 50# of bread flour, 40# of rye and 20# of yeast. They have a $4.99 flat rate shipping per order policy. White sugar is cheap here also, but I was just wondering if anybody made a mead type of wash with dried honey. Thanks for the heads up, I missed the cane sugar part.
