I like it. It looks like the holes are punched in the wrong direction though but It could be the illusion of the photos. Have you run it and if so what kind of performance did you get?

ummm the plates dished when i punched the holes with the nail, done on purpose i figured vapor would reflash from the liquid that pooled as it collected from the knocking down of the reflux. the holes keep it dropping downward but hopfuly slow enuf to allow the alc. to keep flashing upward away from the lower plates that should be hotter than the top ones.....and they can be inserted upside down aswell. gonna try both ,and at the lowest point of the collum and then another run with them atop just below the reflux condenser. i'm like chomping at the bit here, i am waiting on my fed permit and i wish not to play untill then if ya know what im saying....but no no butsi must restrain my self....argggggg@^%^$#$###
soon i will play and really put some theorys to test...i have sooo many ideas
lets reinvent the wheel
p.s.
the plates are just a little smaller than the column so the flow still works fairly easy
