Do Tails Contain Immiscibles?

Post by eStill »

I've been keeping my tails. I plan on tossing them back into a wash at some point to see what happens. I have them in a clear glass bottle for now. Last night I needed a cleaning solvent. I picked up the bottle an spotted clear swirly lensing effect patterns. (Is there a better name for this? Looks a bit like the halocline you get when warm fresh river water mixes with cold sea water.) I gave it a gentle swirl; the patterns were very pronounced and I had to give it a right old swill to mix them properly. I know this stuff is a mixture, but I didn't realise quite how immiscible the components were. Cool.

Edit: immiscible has two m's.
