When do you visit the homedistiller forums?

Just thought that this would be a nice forum question.

If you're retired or out of a job, disregard the relevance to "work" in any of the choices, but the relative time of day still applies.

Whenever I have time and thinking about distilling.

Self-employed, so sometimes I want to come but can't afford the time. Other times (we'll call these the good times, but if it lasts too long it's called the bad times

) I'll read and hang out all day - I visit other forums of different interests as well.

So, I guess time of day doesn't apply to me - I'm not that structured.

I generaly visit during the week at night after dinner,don't watch television. Might spend some time during the day on the weekend.

Its probably good I can't get access at work I'd get no work done some times you just get into it and before you now it you've been reading for three plus hours Its usually brought to my attention by "are you going to spend all night on that thing"

i usually get on here when my wife is watching a show i dont like. which is quite often. i might not say much but i try to read up daily. never know when you may learn something.

So true, most of the shows on now are garbage, either reality based or celebrity based

I usually check the site when ever I get on the computer, the "read posts since last visit" is great for that

Much like GingerBread, when I have the spare time from the grind, usually late at night though. Some times I'm here for weeks at a time, sometimes I'm not here for weeks

man i check this thing any free moment i have...as long as the"old ball and chain" ain't playing word racer...lol this forum is addictive....only spot on the web that you can learn new ideas or old ones every time you visit........well that and reading punkins sign off

3 or 4 times a day. I have been unemployed for about 4 months, knocking around the house and doing odd chores. I keep the computer on and check several favorite sites and email 3 or 4 or 5 times a day. Generally don't stay on for more than 15 to 30 minutes at a time.

Supposed to start back to work next week which will cut down on my computer time quite a bit.

I'd be lucky to watch two hours a week of television, there's very little of interest to me.

I log on here all the time. Sometimes there's not enough new stuff to keep me going, i might check some other interests...

I carry my laptop everywhere I go. Since I am supporting work and monitoring systems via VPN, I watch the computer and e-mail a lot from home and everywhere else for the company.
At work I have my personal laptop running and when work is slow, I can interact with the world without burning company resources or violating their "Electronic communications policy". It is a fair trade.
Like most of you there are few stories on television that can keep my attention for more than 1 minute.
I do have some programs I watch for noise though. "How It's Made" on Science Channel. I like "Lost" when it is on but it requires a lot of attention to maintain the continuity. Simple stories that I can guess the plot really bore me. And the one I watch over and over and over is "The Thirsty Traveler" on Fine Living.
So if you see me on a typical TV night, I have a book, my laptop, and a project such as a power controller kit in progress, or a copper still, or a camera and studio All piled up on a worn old coffee table that raises to desk height in front of the sofa, watching tv or playing video games with my family. I switch tasks easily and require a lot of mental stimulus to keep me from stressing about trivial crap.
When the kids go to bed during the week, I have from 9pm to midnight to have to entertain myself. I get tons of work done then. Weekends find me out shopping for parts while my wife shops for here stuff and the household stuff. I fit movies in regularly and make sure the job and the family are taken care of and have plenty of time in addition to the web and my projects.
