still dragon weldless
http://stilldragon.com/index.php/2-tric ... tting.html" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow. sorry but i put the link 1st. I have searched the HD forum for hours now. I did the advanced seach also. Has anyone used one of these? I am wanting to put it on a stainless milk can boiler. If i were going to put it on a keg, I would solder it, but the milkcan boiler is just a little over 1mm thick. I dont trust my skills on stainless that thin.

have a little faith in yourself joey.
I did a 2" ferrule to a flimsy saladbowl, if i can do it so can you.
Sorry no experience with the bulkhead fitting nor can I say I've come across anyone else using one either here.
if you are unsure, buy a normal ferrule and a cheap ass saladbowl and practice on that, you can go through a few saladbowls until you feel confident in doing it right and still save a few bob compared to the fitting.

+1 SP.
Plus, that bulkhead fitting uses a silicone seal...not recommended!

That's exactly how I did it on my 16 qt stock pot gin still. A "homemade" EZ flange on 1-1/2" type M and a slightly modified tailpiece nut and it is quite modular. The rest is sweat copper unions.
