Howdy from Canada
Greetings to all home distillers.
I am a lover of great whiskeys and some rums.
As a home brewer this seems like the next logical step to me. I have been reading this forum for about 8 months now and every good book I can get my hands on.
I finally decided to build a still and take the theory to the next level. This site has really explained more then books and has allowed me to make the correct choices in my build.
I will be posting pics on my still build and set up in the appropriate places.
All for now

Welcome, looking forward to your pictures of your build. I just got back from Vancouver after spending last weekend enjoying the beautiful city.

A fellow Canadian eh.. well if you live in a major West coast city and are stuck with any still build issues then feel free to message me. I have a good list of places to get materials and ingredients.

Thanks for the welcomes!
Can't wait to really get started, but kind of hard when I'll be running the still in my shed and its -10C(14F) in there. So all my plans will be on hold for a little bit. But I can do my cleaning runs in a heated garage that I have access to, but no sac runs there.
But that's ok, still(pun intended) reading and making a wash plan. I'll just keep making beer for now.
