4" to 2" shotgun...
I am trying to get a materials list together for the still I am building. Its is a 25 gallon and is probably going to have one 5500W heating element in it. I plan on building a 2" shotgun condenser. Is there going to be any trouble if I have a 4" column feeding a 2" shotgun condenser. I am wanting to have a 4" ferrule welded to the top of my tank in case I ever want to change to a different type of condenser which is the reasoning behind the 4" column.

2" will do you good, 2' of it with 4x 1/2" should do the trick

or use your current PC..
I use my liebig,at 30" of 3/4" over 1/2" it's hugely oversized for the spirit runs of the plater, if you are stripping first the size of the PC matters but is out just run from wash to filal proof your PC will not need to be big as you'll take off much slower than a striprun
