Do you shine your still?

Post by GingerBreadMan »

Just curious. I'm making a still right now. I'm going to shine it for the photos when posting on the board. I'll probably not bother again.
I started out with nothing, and I still have most of it left.

If its outside you might consider camouflage

Getting her all shined up before the maiden run, probably won't do it again unless it gets real ugly. Although the Blue Magic makes it shine real purdy and makes all the bad stuff slide off.

Soaking over night in vinegar & water does a Real nice job. Then I use the scrubber on the back of a sponge while rinsing out . Shines up fast and easy... But I have thought about painting mine like Punkin did.

I don't, every few runs I dump all parts in the hot slop......that's clean enough for me.
