Little or nothing to do with distillation.

Whiskey and Cheese

Post by MountedGoat »

Just last night went out and bought some bourbons, Eagle Rare and Woodbridge. Both around $20. Then tasted them next to some Kessler to see the difference. Very informative and sadly 2 outta 4 chose Kessler. I say sadly only because next to the others it smelled and tasted like sugar water, no intrigue. Though I have to say that they make a lot of product very well.

Anywho, then my lady and I decided that there was some cheeses in the fridge that should be tasted alongside our favorite whisky. AWFUL!!! Never do it! The cheeses were spectacular, as was the whisky. Together though turned out something straight from hell.

So in conclusion, keep your alcohol and dairy seperate
water + sugar + yeast = wine

water + flour + yeast = bread

wine + bread = two things I can make at home
