Just love this drink, it’s a German honey liqueur that is just awesome and so easy to make.
You need 200ml (7oz) of honey that you add to 200ml (7oz) of pre-heated water and stir slowly at low heat until well mixed and once done, let it cool a little, then put it in a 1.14l (40oz) bottle and add to that 700ml (24oz) of vodka @ 50% ABV and shake twice a day for a week.
The result is awesome!

Made some honey whiskey a while back that I didn’t think was as good as the regular whiskey I have never tried it with vodka!

If my memory is correct, many countries have their versions of this with slight changes to the recipe:
Scotland uses scotch to make it...
US and Ireland use whiskey...
France uses brandy...
I prefer this one
