I was looking for ways to test sugar levels in potatoes (for making fries/chips etc) when, I found these. Figured it might be a useful & cheap way to test sugar levels in your mash. Wondering if any have tried it here?

Most use a refractometer but can't speak for all.

The test strips are cool, thanks for sharing. But a refractometer costs like two packs of these test strips and I will use it many times per mashing, it never runs out!

Pretty sure that stuff is also known as Tes tape . Its used by pregnant woman to test urine for Glucose levels . We got heaps of it at work ....LOl .. not for that purpose . I’m curious if it will also show
other sugars as well .
Never crossed my mind to use it in distilling .Thanks ... might be worth a look
