Need Help With Custom Burner Tube Coil

Researching how I can build this custom burner I need. This is actually for dry distilling birch bark which I make Birch tar oil out of.

Here is the barrel I will most likely use:

Now I need to build a tube type burner that will circle around that starting at bottom and coiling around until a few inches under the top. I normally distill in something smaller and build a fire around it, takes about 45 to 60 minutes with a nice hot fire. Moving to this bigger barrell is going to take a whole bunch of wood so I am thinking propane might be more efficient.

Any of you made anything like this or know where I can start sourcing parts for it? I am in Canada so either Canada or USA preferred. I would think this will probably require a 100lb tank as well?
