A Whiskey Writer chooses his favorite whiskey

Post by Bushman »

Saw this link on the ADI newsletter. A whiskey writer chooses his favorite whiskey from each state. From my state he made a good choice but at $50.00 a bottle ouch!

Woodinville makes some good drop. I'm growing particularly fond of Westland single malt, but I agree the cost for a bottle of either is a bit too steep. Then you get to pay the king 27% tax for your pleasure.
Fear and ridicule are the tactics of weak-minded cowards and tyrants who have no other leadership talent from which to draw in order to persuade.

I feel like the grains and yeast I buy is enough of a tax
You have two ears and one mouth for a reason....

You pay tax on grain and yeast?
Here, food items are not taxed, so a stroll through the homebrew shop is tax free, unless you purchase hops.
