Player Notes.

Post by punkin »

Just wondering if there's anywhere in the forum software that can be done to make it possible to keep a profile of forum members? Something where you could just hover over their username and have a box popup with a couplea sentences about my recollections of them?

I know with my poker playing where there can be a lot of different usernames wandering round, you can click on there name and keep notes about them.

This'd be handy here as the forums get bigger and bigger, it's hard for me to remember who any more than a couplea handfulls of people are, how they still, and what sorta handle they have on things. Sometimes also, people say things you want to remember about them, and a little note on their profile to jog your memory would be perfect.

Don't know if it's difficult or as easy as clicking a button or if it's already available and i've overlooked it.

I don't see a way to add notes. Thier profile will only give the info they supply.
Might be able to use the PM drafts folder to hold notes on them. Would take a little navigation to get to it each time.

how 'bout an address book, the loose leaf kind: you'll have the screen names alphabetically and room for your notes, and it will be expandable.
