Why is there no date on that article? When was it published?

Edited to add that I find nothing on their website about this.

Good catch, Deplorable. I got the alert from my daughter and didn't verify the validity of the claim, just pleased that she was even aware of any factors that could affect our hobby and homebrewing.

Since you mentioned it, I couldn't find anything on the Wyeast sites or anywhere either. I need to check these things before posting a 'public service announcement' for members. Here's the two sites that I did see just before posting, neither without a date:

There is a date near the bottom, Jan 26, 22, but I hate it when they don't make it clear on a 'news' article like this.

But their site is pretty low tech, almost theme-less wordpress, and a bunch of light reviews to products with Amazon affiliate links... Certainly would be good to corroborate the story....
