Blending

Post by blue pig »

Well I had a few tonight, and starting thing that onthe comercial stuff I like a Canadian style "blend" and starting doing a little myself.

So I came up with (mixed in a 750ml bottle)

1/4 UJSM
1/4 DWWG
1/2 uj "Rye"
(All oaked and aged seperatly)

WOW knocked my socks off.....Absoultly perfect for me

I made some UJSM style whiskey using the spent barley from spargin out a batch of beer. It had a rough grain, kinduv straw flavor to it.
I blended it with some all-grain cracked corn whiskey, lightly oaked. That was a great combo.
