Links to Relieve Boredom

Post by punkin »

Thought i'd start a thread for some of your favourite links.

There really is some weird and wonderful stuff out there in cyberland, and some of it can provoke thought, excite the emotions or bring a smile to the face on a dull day. Then there's some that just beggar belief..

Here's a few of my favourites..

The Origami Boulder, is the work apparently of one genius, the site is fairly large and the pitch is so good i've found myself on the brink of purchase a # of times, just cause this sense of humour should be rewarded. 8)
This is one of the best pages there where he answers his detractors in e-mail...

Movie Plot generator
Big Screen Movie
an original screenplay concept
by Jimbo
Science Fiction: A kind hearted prostitute teams up with an alcoholic ex-CIA agent to win a wager. In the process they accidentally kill a super intelligent chimpanzee. By the end of the movie they blow up 88 washed up ex-SNL cast members and end up winning the admiration of their country, living happily ever after.

Think Priscilla, Queen of the Desert meets Speed 2.

There you are, lounging around the public library wearing nothing but socks when suddenly you take off your wedding rings. Surprised, you stash the inflatable sheep under the couch and are happy to see the whole high school cheerleading team sensuously eating a popsicle. As the cheesy music begins you can't help yourself, so you take a bite of pizza, disgusted by the size of the zuchini that confronts you. Before you know it a car pulls up and it's the Dallas Cowboys cheerleaders arguing over who will have you first. Being the gracious host, you suck all of them, much to their delight.
The air is thick with the smell of burning stew you left on the stove as 21 people are now writhing in a pile on the handlebars of a Harley blowing. You're completely absorbed in it, never having enjoyed so many people blowing at once.

Suddenly you look up and see your mother staring at you and you grin foolishly. You're caught! They give you a chalkboard so you can keep score next time and you pull out your badge and welcome them to the XXX-Files as the cheesy music fades out.

The End.

There you are, lounging around the public library wearing nothing but a silly grin when suddenly the alarm clock goes off. Surprised, you hope it's the pizza because you're starving.....for loving and are happy to see a pizza delivery person grinning. As the cheesy music begins you can't help yourself, so you take a bite of pizza, disgusted by the size of the pizza bill that confronts you. Before you know it a car pulls up and all the Playboy centerfolds from the last ten years are eating the pizza you've been waiting for. Being the gracious host, you eat all of them, much to their delight.

The air is thick with the smell of someone's cheap perfume as 2 people are now writhing in a pile on the kitchen counter riding. You’re completely absorbed in it, never having had so many people riding at once.

Suddenly you look up and see the ghostly image of Linda Lovelace that appears on a condom staring at you and you grin foolishly. You’re caught! They grab the incriminating Polaroids and run and you turn them over to the Jehovah's Witnesses as the cheesy music fades out.

- THE END -

I've probably spent weeks of my life combing through this thing, and I still haven't got through half of it. http://tvtropes.org/pmwiki/pmwiki.php/Main/HomePage" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;" rel="nofollow
It lists all of the plot elements, cliches, stereotypes, and stupid things done by media writers that for some reason or another, seem to captivate their audiences.

Warning: This wiki is chock full of spoilers.
"If you can't dazzle them with brilliance... baffle them with bullshit."
"Don't steal. The government hates competition."
"Believe none of what you hear, and only half of what you see"
