Cleaning run

Post by glfclbs1 »

I just finished my vinegar cleaning run. Ran it at top temp for about 25 minutes. After cool down, I checked the inside of my 2" copper, and there seems to be some sort of orange rust type residue? Everything is either copper, brass, or stainless in my combination. Has anyone else ever seen this? It is reclaimed copper, but I cleaned it thoroughly with acid and a green pad before I finished soldering. So, I am not sure what it could be?
